A new stand alone enemies-to-lovers romance by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…

I spent six weeks screwing Austin Wright’s brains out and all I got was this broken heart.

He can’t be trusted. Not with my body or my heart. Yet, two years have passed and I still crave him like an addict needing a fix.

The last time we tried this, it nearly ruined me. I know I should run and never look back. But his dark haunted eyes and razor blade smile speak to my soul. His touch sets my body on fire. And we all know what happens when you light gasoline. Someone is bound to get burned.

A second chance might destroy us both.

Because everyone knows two wrongs don’t make a Wright.

Stephanie’s 3 Star Review:

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

This book is the third Wright brother book but it can be read as a standalone.  It focuses on Austin Wright and Julia Banner.  Julia is a friend of the Wright family and also an employee of Wright Construction – their family business. One of the biggest hurdles of this book is Austin’s addiction problem.  He doesn’t see he has any issues functioning while under the influence. Which causes all kinds of problems especially with his professional life.

Now here’s where I have a big issue with the story line – Julia is the Director of HR for Wright Construction.  An employee in her position should know a lot more about what’s going on at Wright than she does in this book.  That drove me crazy.  I thought this part should have reflected more realistic practices than it did.

Austin and Julia seem to have a big tug of war with each other.  I don’t fault her for not wanting to be involved with a person with an addiction problem given her history.  It’s a lot to stomach on a regular basis especially with a history.  Austin tries.  He really does.

I think he would fall head over heels to do anything for Julia if she’d let him.  If he could.  Their love story is sweet but not without plenty of complications.  She drives a hard bargain.  He’s in denial for a good part of the book. Go big or go home, Austin.  He definitely learns how to go big.  You’ll end this novel with a smile on your face.
