Whiskey Burning is the first book in the Iron Fury MC Series from Bella Jewel.
Scarlett is a country music super star. She is at the top of her career and currently on tour. However Scarlett is miserable. She is tired of being controlled and confined to her hotel most of the time. She want’s to live her life. One night when she was able to sneak out to a fountain a conversation with a man she can not see starts the beginning of something she wasn’t expecting. Little does she know that that man was Maverick, a member of the Iron Fury MC in Denver who is living a nomad life due to a huge loss he has suffered. However Scarlett has danger in her past and the MC has a threat they can not figure out. Can the two of these events have anything to do with each other? Well you will just have to read and find out.
I loved these two characters. Poor Scarlett. I can’t imagine living life the way she has to and could totally understand her frustration. Maverick has a heart he is trying to mend and when these two meet the sparks just fly. They are so perfect for each other. I also loved that their story isn’t written in the clubhouse. This is a road trip. A trip in which Maverick follows her tour bus and protects Scarlett until he realize he needs help and here comes the cavalry. This book is full of moments where you are trying to connect the dots and cross your t’s. I loved that it kept me on my toes and I loved the passion between these two characters. I so can not wait to have the next book in my hands to see what happens next.
Bella Jewel has written a book that is an excellent start to what is sure to be one of the most amazing MC series shes written.
