She believes in fairytales and waits her prince. But I arrive at her doorstep ad I’m for from royalty. My sleeping beauty doesn’t realize just how dangerous I am. She trust so easily, smiles so beautifully, and while she sleeps I watch. With each passing night, I becomes more addicted. Until I’m a man obsessed. I believed she was the light to my darkness. But it turns out my sleeping beauty likes to dive into the shadows alongside me. She’s mine, but that decision could kill us both.
This is a dark, delicious and twisted retelling of Sleeping Beauty as only Dani Rene’ could do it. I don’t want to give away any of the story and I think you really are better going into it blind. I didn’t even read the description I just dove in and didn’t stop reading until I was finished. I loved these characters so much and I loved that they were not perfect like in actual fairy tales. The families are mafia families and this story revolves around a contract that was made to bring the two families together. However these two, Vera and Logan meet when she is only ten and when she has had enough she runs. I think that everyone will love this book. Especially those of us who like this dark and twisted and to read from the edge of our seats.
