I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This book is a dark psychological thriller. If you have triggers you will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. I don’t even know if I can say much in this review and not give something away. It is certainly one of those books that you are going to close and think what the actually heck did I just read. As you can tell from the description it is a dark serial killer book that has a love story in it but wow it just takes you for a huge rollercoaster ride that you might want to jump off a time or two and you do not want to do that. You need to hold one and breathe and you will get to the end. I think this book was dark and twisted and mind blowing. This is a book were women are ending up dead all over the small town of Rivercrest Landing. But the odd thing is that they all have the most beautiful Origami butterfly on their bodies. It is happening every night and no one has a clue who The Butterfly Killer could possibly be or what in the world their motive could be. Well you have to read to find out and I’m not even really sure how to describe the relationship that was in the book. I promise that you will be on the edge of your seat more than you are in it and you might even become a pro of holding your breath.
