Undeniable: The Prologue

Review

Enigmatic Maximus Aurelius Moore, aka Hard-Core, a military officer and a secret venture capitalist, is sent to Vegas to check out a business opportunity, a stripper known as Seary (Siri Wright).

When the callous playboy sees her performance, he is stunned. For the first time in his life, he feels.

A goddess dances onto the stage. I know without a doubt, this is Seary! Staring at her, spellbound by her beauty, my mind goes blank and the words of the song think for me. Wow! This is unexpected! My cock fills with blood. One hand instinctively seizes it, trying to choke the life out of it, while the other hunkers down on my drink and I struggle to get a grip on myself. She boldly bounces onto the stage to perform for a crowd of drunken fools, but her graceful movement belies her occupation and I recognize a gifted and talented dancer before me. She moves with the elegance and poise of someone who could, and probably should, be dancing on a larger, grander scale. She is perfection in motion.

I sit motionless, completely spellbound and locked down tight in my seat, not wanting to miss a thing. Appreciating that every moving part of her beautiful body is in total rhythm to the beat. Right down to the smallest nuance of the melody. She is incredible.

What happens is scorching!

Siri’s Saga begins here with undeniable lust, but this sexy, sizzlin’ romance series between Maximus Aurelius Moore, who has secrets he shares with no one, and Siri Wright, who has secrets she hides from the rest of the world, is an unexpected wild journey of lust and love. Undeniable, the prologue, is scorching! Untouchable is explosive! Unstoppable is dangerous! Undone is courageous!

Everyone has secrets. Some are better at hiding them.

Virginia’s Review

Undeniable: The Prologue: Moore (Siri’s Saga 1) is my first read by Jessika Klide and I really enjoyed it. It’s a short, quick story that has tons of steam and had me loving the characters and the story.

Here we have the story told by Aurelius Moore (so it’s his point of view). Moore is a business man who likes women and sex but has no interest in relationships- he never does repeats with women- he has no desire to. Until he sees Seary. Seary is the hot, sensual, beautiful dancer he sees at a gentlemen’s club in Vegas and he wants her. No matter what he has to do or offer. Sometimes we get what we want, sometimes we don’t. Will Aurei?

I went into this book knowing nothing about the story. It was different and fun, full of steam, and is a great introduction to the series. We learn a lot about Aurei here. His present life and some flashbacks to the past both give us a good understanding of the man he is today. We don’t get much about Seary- she’s a mystery to Aurei as well as the reader.

The book leaves us with a total cliffhanger that will have you wanting to jump right into the next book. I want to know more about Seary, what her story is, and if her and Aurei get together or not. A great introduction to the series!

An ARC was provided to Stephanie’s Book Reports for an honest review.
