This is a friends to lovers romance and it was really cute and sweet to read. Cillian and Midge have been friends forever and a day and have never ever crossed the line to make it anything more. Until one night when they have been drinking and a game of truth or dare and desire takes over. This leads to a relationship that both of them define differently. To her it is a friends with benefits thing but to him this is so much more. Cillian is a character that hasn’t grown up in tragic circumstances but has turned into a man that is quiet the man and is very easy to fall in love with. He is very charming and a very nice guy. Midge lives her life the way she wants to and is a bit different. She is outspoken and has had a crush on Cillian for forever but is terrified to take a chance on him due to the failure of her past relationships. These two are funny and carry a chemistry that is smoking hot. However can they get past what they need to to find their happily ever after? You have to read to find that out. This story is told from dual points of view and I love that.
