Truly Mine by Kennedy Fox Release Review

Once we caught our breaths, and it became obvious that meeting her wasn’t a coincidence, everything changed. Now I must deny her at all costs. Friends. It’s all we can ever be. Sophie’s on my mind more than ever as my instincts to protect her take over, Regardless of my attempts to help, she pushes me away and makes it clear she doesn’t need me. I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her safe, to show her I’m the good guy, but one night takes a tragic turn for the worse when her boyfriend and I start throwing punches. And ends when I’m arrested for his murder.

Holy cow!!! Just Holy freaking Kennedy Fox goodness!!!! This book is amazing. I loved every single second of this one. I love friends to lovers and roommate books. This has to be one of the very best ones I have read in a while. This book is full of angst, a whole lot of lust, friendships, a ton of emotions and holy cow at the suspense. The very beginning of this book sucks you in and takes you right back to where you want to be or maybe you don’t it just depends and now you have to just know what is going to happen to Mason. It will put you through the ringer before you really have jumped into the book really good. So so worth it though. Mason for his part was a jerk and frustrating at times but heck who could really blame him for being that way toward Sophie. You get to his truth and it will have you in a heaping mess at times. I just wanted to wrap my arms around Mason and keep him forever. He though is going through something in his past that he has never gotten over and it is the reason why in the beginning he didn’t let things go far at all with Sophie. However when she moves into the recently vacated room in Mason and Liam’s place it is all but impossible to ignore the feeling that he has for her. Sophie too at this point is in mourning. Not so much for the man she lost but for the way things were in the very beginning and for the person she had been before all of this happened. Plus you have this whole Weston is dead but he is still going to be causing a whole lot of problems for Sophie and Mason and will even come between them once again and threaten all that they could be together. I loved this book. I devoured this book. I never wanted this book to end. But it did, and now I can not wait for more. Kennedy Fox has done an absolutely amazing job writing this book. Heck this entire series is a must read. Do not miss this one. It is one that will end up on many many favorite of 2019 list at the end of the year. Of this I am very sure.
