Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Rule number one: Don’t sleep with the clients. Escorting was supposed to be a short-term job to pay the bills. It wasn’t meant to lead to heartache. This book had me from the first sentence. I’m pretty sure that I didn’t put it down until I was finished either. These characters are some your going to fall in love with right off the bat and your going to be so invested in them. This is the story of a woman doing what she has to do to survive. Then you have James who has some messed up things that he didn’t deserve happening in his life. He too is carrying around a huge secret that will have a huge affect on Stefanie. This is the story of two strong people doing what they have to do to survive this crazy world and the things thrown out of them. I wish I had read book one. They are standalone’s but I just felt like maybe there was some things I had missed by not reading that book. However I didn’t let it take away from this one.

KL Humphreys lives in Ireland with the love of her life and her baby girl. In a way, the world has him to thank for her debut novel, Deadly Hunt. After years of thinking about writing the story that had been dying to get out of her head, she finally confided in her other half. He gave her all the encouragement she needed to get the story out, he has been with her every step of the way.

KL loves music, especially pop, R’n’B and rap and if she’s writing you will find it playing somewhere nearby. She also loves all romance novels but of course, Romantic Suspense is her go-to genre. When she isn’t writing it…it’s a good bet she is curled up somewhere reading it.
