But beneath the cocky attitude is man fighting the demons from his past.
This is the kind of story that is a slow burn and one you will not be able to put down. This is the perfect blending of the Gallo and Dixon families from the Salvation World. These two are so drawn to each other they are perfect friends and you know they are destined to be so much more. This story was fun to read and I just love anytime I get to spend more time in the Gallo world.

Then I meet Callum-my brother’s friend, a bounty hunter, and the accused in my new case. The charge-sexual battery. The supposed victim-a bail jumper he’s been chasing halfway across the country. My instincts tell me he’s innocent, which I set about proving, but I didn’t expect to fall for him in the process. Our mutual attraction becomes a tempting complication neither of us can resist. When a body turns up, Callum and I realize a war is raging around us; and one of us is the target. With an ex-husband eager to take me down and a woman determined to ruin Callum, we need to figure out who the perpetrator is….before time runs out.
This story is really good. It will keep you on your toes and I can just about be everyone will fall for Cal. He is this rough around the edges bad boy bounty hunter. He is also forty five years old and I love that Freya Barker writes older characters. This is a man who planned on being a bachelor for the rest of his life, but then he meets Reagan. He has also been accused of sexual battery. Reagan is also the ex of the court persecutor and someone is out to get one of both of them. It is a huge who done it and it will keep you reading from beginning to end.

A complete dynamite, fighting for her place in her man’s world. As A CIA agent, Cullen thrives on law and order. When he is charged with investigating the MC, he quickly realizes the Princess will be his way in. Yet, once he’s infiltrated, she leaves him no other option but to deviate from the path of law and order, and to see justice within reason.
This book is nonstop action form the very beginning to the very end. You are going to love the time you get to spend with Esmee and Cullen. She is the Princess of the MC. Born and raised and is as tough as nail and can handle any man and his crap. However when she meets Cullen he knows that it is the beginning of his way into the MC. He also sees that here is a side to Esmee that isn’t all hard and MC Princess. She has this soft side. What will happen when a MC Princess and man sworn to protect and serve end up in the same place? You have to read to find out. It is a book that will keep you on your toes, that’s for sure.
