Wow! This is the first time I’ve read this author and I have to say she nailed this story. Prince Henry is an Alpha male who sets his sights on a woman named Everly. She’s everything he should avoid yet can’t help himself.
Once they figure out who each other are it’s a little bit dicey. He has a kingdom to rule and she’s technically his enemy’s daughter. Henry isn’t a puppet though. Neither is the daughter. She’s a firecracker.
I enjoyed both of these characters. Everly can hold her own when it comes to Henry. Even when submitting in the bedroom she still holds all the cards. I can’t wait to see what happens with these two in The Rebel Queen. Everly’s going to give this country and it’s politicians a run for their money. After all she is her father’s daughter.
