This is a new series by Meredith Wild. It’s a Romantic Suspense focused on two people who used to be friends and more. Tristan is a killer for hire and his mark calls his name in her sleep. Who is this woman and how does she know who he is? Part of serving in the military can come with physical as well as psychological damage. Tristan doesn’t remember his life before he became a hired assassin. He doesn’t want to know. Yet there’s something about this woman that rocks his very foundation and it nags at him to ask her questions about his past. When Tristan allows Isabel to recognize him she can’t believe her eyes! All of the feelings she’s harbored for him since left her come racing to the surface. She doesn’t know what she’s walking into though. It’s very dangerous for her to know Tristan. Yet neither can help themselves. This book obviously ends with a cliffhanger. Thank goodness you don’t have to wait long in between releases. I’ve read the first to books already and am patiently impatiently waiting for book 3! Gracious. I can’t wait to see how this story plays out. Anyway – have you ever thought about what it would be like to be in love with an assassin?
