Keep your friends close, and your enemies in your bed….
VIOLET
Taken…
Kidnapped.
Given to him;
A cold-blooded, unforgiving hitman,
with sexy eyes and an irresistible body.
I only went and fell for him. Believed the lie of his beauty.
But it all turned ugly and dark, and now I’m adrift.
ANDRIUS
A gift—mine!
To own, to keep.
I believed she belonged to me.
Let myself hope.
But it all came crashing down in the worst way.
Now I have to figure out if I can save her.
Save myself.
Because when lies and deceit fall away.
Can the truth be enough?

The Gift
I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Violet: Taken Kidnapped. The innocent waitress nobody would miss, nobody would care about. Given to him; A cold-blooded, unforgiving hitman. With sexy eyes and an irresistible body. But he doesn’t know who I am, or what secrets I hide.
Andrius: A gift-mine! To own, to keep. To do with as I please. But she’s so much more. More than I ever imagined. And I vow to get to the bottom of this…This beautiful, mysterious, and broken gift. Because now she belongs to me.
The Gift is the first book in the Bratva Vows. This is a dark romance and may have triggers for some. I love a book that is told from two points of view and the gift is told from Violet and Adnrius’s points of view. This book grabbed me from the very first chapters. There are so many secrets and plans and things you just are not going to be able to figure out. I love when a book keeps me on my toes. The ending is going to have you wanting the second book the minute you finish this one. I know that my review is vague but I don’t want to give anything away about this book. Just know that your going to love these characters and the chemistry between them. I can not wait to have the second book in my hands.

The Hit is the second book in the Bratva Vows Duet. These books are dark and may hold triggers for some people. You can also not read The Hit without reading The Gift first. Your going to be so lost if you try to do that. The Hit takes off right were the Gift left off so you are not jumping into the future and a little on the lost side like some series I have read. This is the pay off. The book were Andrius knows that he has to keep Violet safe and that has gone and fallen in love with the woman that was kidnapped and given to him. Andrius has realized just exactly who Violet is and she has realized who her father is and it feels like the entire world has blown up. This book is good and will have you reading as fast as you can. These are both novella sized books so you will devour them. I am so glad I got to read these books. They were my first time reading S.R. Jones but I am sure it won’t be my last time.

Hi Guys. I’m a UK based author who loves to read and write all things romance.
As Skye Jones I write steamy paranormal romance.
As S.R. Jones I write darker, contemporary romance and romantic suspense.
One thing my books have in common are tortured alpha heroes that are oh-so-redeemable!
I live in Yorkshire, and get lots of inspiration from the windswept moors, the old stone buildings and the Celtic myths of this fair isle.
My dogs are my favorite people, although I tell my husband I’m quite fond of him too 😉
I love chocolate and Starbuck’s Mochas and keep meaning to give them up for a life of yoga and fresh juices, but it never happens!
