You have to read Beauty and the Villain or you are going to be very lost. This is also a dark romance and you are going to want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. This book picks up right where we left off in the last book with Aileen gone and we have no idea whether someone terrible has her or if she is going to be ok. And is Rush alright after what happened? Well I can’t tell you. I can’t tell you a lot about what happens in this book. but I can tell you that we get more back story between Rush and his twin. The life Rush led before we got to know him and what made him the man he is today. But most of all the truth. My heart really broke for Rush at points in this book. Spend some more time with Lavender and learn the truth of it all. This book sucks you right back in to this world and will keep you on the edge of your seats through some of it. I have loved this duet. It is one that you do not want to miss.
