Even if she has the attention of one particular tattooed biker, she can’t succumb to his charm and drag her daughter back into a world of danger, no matter how much he thinks he can save her.

I beta read this book for the author. I really enjoyed how she brought these two characters together. This book is a different feel than the others in this series in regards to it’s focus is totally on Bobby and Doc aka Jessica. Their vibe is different than Shadow and Dani and you can really tell it through their story.
I thought the way the author brought out Jessica’s nurture vs nature sides showed you a different side of this character and endeared you to her more. Of course there are some shocking things she does in this story that you may not think a doctor would do, but again nurture vs nature.
As for Bobby….we know he’s almost as bad a boy as Shadow. They’re partners for goodness sake. The points in this story I really enjoyed where the ones where he was watching Jessica do something and it surprised him each time – her actions.
If you’ve not read this series yet, you can read this one as a standalone. I would encourage you to read the rest of the series however. This is one of my favorites.
