The Fall of Legend is the first book in a new trilogy by Meghan March. You know what that means, right? Things will start to pick up just as book one ends and moves on to book two.
I struggled with the beginning of this novel. It didn’t grab me like normal March books do but it did pick up around 41% or so. The book focuses on Scarlett Priest and Gabriel Legend – a society girl and a street fighter. They couldn’t be more different.
It’s by kidnapping they meet. So I guess you could say this book has a big of Stockholm Syndrome included but not fully. You’ll just have to read to see.
Also she has a douche canoe for a boyfriend that needs to feel the brunt of Legend’s fists and I’m not a violent person. He’s got it coming though – you’ll see.
Of course both Gabe and Scarlett have some side issues going on in the story as well. You will have to pay attention to what’s what because somethings she thinks are intertwined aren’t. That’s where you need to keep your mental notes for book two.
Here’s to Gab and Scarlett – let’s hope the ride we’re about to embark on will have the results we’re all cheering for!
