I don’t think it matters what genre Donna Grant writes. She’s very eloquent and her descriptions are vivid. The Defender focuses on Lev and Reyna…both spies trying to take down an organization called the Saints. Though Saint describes no one in that organization.
As you’ll tell from the book description Lev and Reyna start out on opposite sides of the fence. He the good guys she the bad. There’s something that initially tells her she can trust Lev though and instead of ending his life she takes him with her.
They know the Saints will come after them. They just have to get to America. Boy what a trip that is. There’s a whole lot going on in this book. These two characters must be quick on their feet. Meanwhile their admiration, attraction and respect toward one another grows.
You’ll have to check this out. I think you’d want a Lev for your defender too!
