BLURB:

Saskia Roth is the stereotypical starving artist. She’s failed as an original artist. She’s failing as a reproduction artist. So why not try con artist?

A local art collector and tech tycoon with far too much money for his own good has taken Saskia’s bait. She’s promised to steal a nude he covets from a private collector, but plans to substitute her own forgery instead.

But which one of them is really the mark?

CHRISTINA’S FOUR STAR REVIEW:

If you’ve never read a Kitty Thomas book, this may be a good one to start with. Why? Because although it’s still true to the “Kitty way”, I think it’s tame compared to her latest work. Yes, you heard me correctly. This book was originally released back in 2016, but she’s re-releasing it because…SURPRISE this occurs in the same world as her upcoming release “The Escape Artist” in January 2020. I realized I hadn’t yet read this one, so here I am.

Saskia is an artist who’s trying to recover from a devastating fire that destroyed all of her original work. Since she’s lost her work, it’s difficult for her to create her own, so she’s turned to replicating art of artists long past. That is until she’s asked to create a piece from an artist who’s only been dead for a short period of time. And not just any artist. This artist is the one and only artist she’s been obsessed with for years. Thankfully the person who’s hired her won’t know if she steals the art or replicates it. Right?

When things don’t go according to plan, the art collector that hired Saskia has the perfect way for her to “re-pay” him for her deceiving ways. Lives will be changed forever and life as Saskia once knew it will forever be a thing of the past. But will she be able to handle her new life, or would death be better?

This book is amazing! Yes, I had to speak in “code” because so many things happen and I’m not going to be the one to spoil it for you. Nope. So just pick this bad boy up and dive right in. And do it before January 2020 because I KNOW you’ll be DYING to pick up what I think will be another amazing contribution to this world Kitty Thomas has us living in.

AUTHOR INFORMATION:

KITTY THOMAS writes dark sexy stories that play with power. She began publishing in early 2010 with her bestselling COMFORT FOOD and is considered one of the original authors of the dark romance/erotic subgenre.

This work is meant for an adult audience. The author does not endorse or condone any of the behavior carried out by characters in her stories. She believes fiction is meant to challenge the reader, not teach morality. If you haven’t developed morals by the time you start reading erotica, it’s probably too late.

Kitty writes standalone novels except for the Pleasure House Books which are interlocking standalones.
