Tell Me a Story: The Complete Novel

***

A flirtatious reading of erotica blossoms into something deep and tender in the steamy Florida heat…

Emma, a bookstore owner and writer, meets a wealthy developer named Caleb at a literary event in Orlando. Daringly, she shares with him a reading of her erotica. Soon both of them are feeling the effects … and Emma’s wondering what kind of lover is underneath Caleb’s expensive suit. Soon the couple are spending every available moment together. Can she trust him with her life as she does with her body? Or will the prickly walls built during her harsh past keep them apart?

Tell Me a Story is a modern-day fairy tale of lust, love and temptation, and also of marriage, memory and destiny. This is the paperback of all FIVE e-book episodes: Tell Me a Story, Tell Me a Desire, Tell Me a Lie, Tell Me a Secret and Tell Me a Truth!

Stephanie’s 3 Star Review:

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

I really wanted to rate this book higher.  These characters are quite loveable but Emma got on my nerves..which in turn made me rate it a three.  So Emma is quite independent and headstrong.  Characteristics I love in female characters.  When it came to communication however – she couldn’t / wouldn’t open her mouth until she was absolutely forced to do so.

I know we don’t always want to tell everything that’s going on with our lives every time we turn around but if you’re dating someone serious enough to want to marry them then do you should be able to communicate.  This is Emma’s biggest flaw.

Caleb is a great example of a down to earth rich man.  He’s super smart great business man but can be clueless when it comes to Emma.  I think if he were to pull his head out of the business long enough to listen/figure out her clues their relationship would have been slightly different.

They are amazing together and of course not without their share of drama.  Some of that drama I feel could have been avoided if Emma would have just said something when she was stewing over it.  Not waiting until it was eating her alive inside to share/talk with Caleb about it.

Check them out.  They have a whole whole wind story to tell.
