I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is the story where Maxim Volkov finally finds his person. Aurora Rossi is an abused girl who is being forced to marry a yucky dirty sleazy old Prince because her awful terrible cousin deemed it so. Maxim is not about to let this happen though. He has made up his mind he is going to protect Aurora and he is going to do just that. No one on earth is going to stop him from making her his. When the time comes for support against Tomasso Rossi, Maxim has all the backing he will ever need and you get to see some of your favorite characters in this book. However things are never that simple and you are reading a SR Jones book after all. Twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat all while falling madly in love with the characters. I devoured this book really. I didn’t lay it down until I was finished and then I was sad that it was over.
