There’s a murderer on the loose.
One who kills without hesitation and remorse.
When Rue Anderson, the killer’s tenth victim, is found in a shallow grave at a children’s park, it sends shockwaves through the local community and sparks a media frenzy.
But there is a difference between Rue and the nine victims that came before her.
Rue survived.
Left with a scar on her soul and her memory in tatters,
Rue finds herself drawn to Valen Ward, the dark and enigmatic man who reminds her there is more to life than just existing.
But Rue’s future is as uncertain as her past.
And though Valen holds her close, he might also be the reason Rue’s world was torn apart.
Every secret has the power to break her, but nothing proves to be more fatal than the truth.
Not when she’s the sole survivor.
And he’s the prime suspect.
Renee’s Five Star Review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Welcome to the hunt for the Lullaby Killer. This is a complete standalone and you will know all your going to want to know by the end of this book. I think if I had had to live though a cliffhanger ending I might have lost my mind. This is the story of Rue, Valen and Nathan. Though I would say that Rue and Valen are the main characters in this book, but you do see Nathan quite a few times. I don’t really know that I can tell you much about this story at all. I will say that Rue is the only one to survive and live to tell the tale of the Lullaby Killer. There is a serial killer on the lose and his tenth victim survives. However she has no memories. None whatsoever. She doesn’t know her name, her address, who the killer is, what her job was, who she can trust. Nathan is the police officer who finds her and Valen is the man in the grocery store who is so happy to see her but can she trust what he is saying to her. This book is told from Valen and Rue’s point of view and then you have some flash backs to Briarwood House. That is about all I can tell you. But I will tell you that you are going to be hooked from the very first chapter. You are going to so badly want to know what is happening and who is doing all of this. Trust me this book keeps you guessing to the very end. I really loved Rue. She was an amazingly strong female character who has been through so much and still trust her instincts even when questioning this and rolls with the punches. Valen is in love with her and when I say love he is obsessed with her. This man would do anything that Rue asks him too. I have no doubt about that. I have to stop talking before I say to much. Trust me you want to read this book. I hope you love it just as much as I did.
