He was a drug I couldn’t kick. I’d overdosed on him before. It didn’t turn out well.
I was stupid enough to let him crack my heart, in hopes we would fall off the same cliff together.
No matter how much my idiotic heart wanted to love him, my head knew better.
He didn’t choose me.
He chose her.
That’s where the problem started.
Maybe that’s how it should end.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Sinister Love is the second book in the Dark Intentions Duet from T.L. Smith. You have to read Distorted Love first or you are going to be so lost.

He was a drug I couldn’t kick. I had overdosed on him before. It didn’t turn out well. I was stupid enough to let him crack my heart in hopes we would fall off the same cliff together. No matter how much my idiotic heart wanted to love him, my head knew better. He didn’t choose me. He chose her. That’s where the problem started. Maybe that’s how it should end.

I am at a loss of how to review this book except to say it was everything that I hoped for and so much more in the second book. Anything I could say about this book could ruin something for someone. Sinister Love does pick up right where Distorted Love ends. Still with a love triangle of sorts between Saskia, Ryken and Livia. But as we all know things are not going in the best possible direction for Saskia thanks to Ryken and Livia. An eye for an eye is how it is in Ryken’s world and now Saskia is gone for six months but no one is to lay a hand on her and he is trusting Antonio one of the worlds baddest criminal minds, to keep her that way. However all is not as it seems and I swear I was one the edge of my seat and now I have another person in this series to hate as much as Livia….Amy. You guys will see what I am talking about. This book is filled with dark things, twists and turns you do not see coming and the ultimate betrayal that had my mouth on the floor as I never not for one second saw this coming. I am sure you won’t either so just be prepared for a huge huge shock. But, this is the book to where Ryken must make his choice. He is in love with two woman and he can not have them both. Or is he really?? You just have to read to find out. This book is nothing short or an amazing conclusion to this duet and I loved every single second of it. If you love dark books then this is a duet you do not want to miss.
