The Room Mate is a friends to lovers story that you will love! Cannon needs a place to live and he winds up living with his sister’s best friend, Paige. Cannon has always had a crush on Paige. You can see where this is headed I’m sure. But is it the best idea for them to get involved? Will it ruin their friendship? Will a relationship hold Cannon back in his career?
Kendall has written another wonderful story with The Room Mate. I love her writing and again, it’s amazing here. The sexual tension and chemistry between Cannon and Paige is SO damn hot. Like you cannot get enough of them. The Room Mate is a fun, light read that took over my life and I couldn’t put it down until I was done.
Kendall’s characters are also so fantastic. Cannon. Swoon. He is absolutely delicious, the perfect book boyfriend. Hot, sexy, a dirty mouth, sweet plus a medical student. What more could you ask for? Paige cares for Cannon but also doesn’t want to hurt him or his sister, which makes things hard for her. I loved their banter and seeing how long they could resist each other before giving in. And I liked that in this story the female was older by a few years- almost all the books I read have the male as the older character.
