This is the second book in the Rochester Trilogy. You have to read Private Property before trying to read Strict Confidence or you are going to be lost. This book picks up right where the first one left off. But now Mr. Rochester is trying to find a safe place to keep his family and Jane safe. He has fallen for her but he knows that he is not good for her and has a history of leaving women in the dust. Now the great task begins to figure out why the house burned down and who has done it. But that brings back a bully from Beau’s past that is in the form of a police detective. They have history and it is not a good one. He sure does have a lot of suspects and is determined that one of the members in the house that night have caught the place on fire and burnt it to the ground. I know that there are a lot of secrets that are going to be revealed in this book and one of them actually shocked me. Things are happening all the time and while Beau wants to keep her he knows that he can’t if she is in danger. You guys are going to devour this book just like I did and man what an ending. I so can not wait to have that third book in my hands.
