If you have been reading this series then you know who Constantino is. I don’t think that he has been very liked in this series, or at least by me he hasn’t. If you feel the same way, then get ready to have you mind changed quickly about him. Evelyn is a doctor who is going though a rough divorce and one night she stitches Constatnino up after a bullet has gone clean through his shoulder. The moment she sees him she is attracted to him and knows that if anyone can help a girl get over a pesky ex by getting under him, it is Constatnino. The man is ruthless and cutthroat and is the head of a Mafia family. However she isn’t the only one that notices the other while he is getting his shoulder stitched up. However because of the events of her divorce she is leery of men and he will have to work to break down her walls no matter how attractive she thinks he is. However he has started a war with the Irish and landed her right in the middle of it. But he’s keeping secrets that could put her in grave danger. Will he be able to keep her safe and keep her in his life if that is what they both decide? You need to read to find out. I really loved this book. It will keep you reading well into the night.
