It’s very rare that a book blows me away and has me speechless. That has me messaging the authors saying holy shit, my jaw is on the floor. That will stay with me forever. I have started my review of Park Avenue Player and deleted it two times. There are no words that I can write that can do this book justice. It was beyond amazing. It was phenomenal. By far, this is the best book Penelope and Vi have written. I don’t know how they keep getting better and better but they do. This book has everything we have come to love from their co-written books. We have: – A hot, sexy alpha – A kickass but sweet female – Parts to make us laugh and smile. – Emotional scenes that tear at your heart. My poor heart couldn’t take it at times. It was ripped out. Ripped. Out. – Romance, steam, love, sweet moments, and sexual tension. – Great secondary characters that brought so much to the story. But it’s much, much more than that. So much more. Elodie and Hollis made their way into my heart and they will be there for quite a long time. Hollis was so fantastic. He may seem like a cranky asshole but he’s really a sweet guy who has been hurt in the past. Elodie brought out the best in him and together they were perfect. Their story was everything. It’s beautifully written and gets in your soul. It’s moving. It nestled its way into my being with every single word. It made me laugh and cry. It made me happy and sad. And it made me believe in true love and happiness. Some may say a book is just a book. A fictitious story. But some books touch us like no other. Park Avenue Player touched me like few have. It’s by far one of my favorite books EVER. An arc was provided for an honest review.
