Swoon-worthy romance meets gripping adventure in the highly anticipated sequel to Of the Blood! Of Fire and Water is the latest young adult masterpiece written by USA Today Bestseller, Cameo Renae!

Calla escaped Morbeth only to find herself fighting for her life once more. Incendia seemed the perfect sanctuary of escape. The stories told of the mystical island claim all inhabitants were annihilated. Those tragic tales . . . were lies.

Desperate to keep their truth hidden, the islanders take Calla and her friends prisoner. Despite her dire situation, something about that beautiful—yet deadly—paradise speaks to Calla’s soul, whispering the powerful secrets pulsing through her veins. As Roehl hunts for her, eager to claim his murderous vengeance, Calla searches for answers she believes only Incendia can offer.

Can Calla harness the power surging within her in time to protect herself, and those she loves, from Roehl? Or, no matter where she runs, will the twisted royal continue to chase her to the farthest reaches of any realm?

Stephanie’s 3 Star Review:

I received a free copy of this book from the author. This is the much anticipated second book in the Heir of Blood and Fire series. You must read book one in order to read this one. Otherwise you’ll be totally lost and won’t have a clue what’s happening even with the author’s recaps. I’m struggling with how I feel about this book. After reading the first one I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one and it’s been so long that I think some of that fire has burned out. Not to say this in between story isn’t good I just feel stuck. There’s a ton of information given in this book. Lots of behind the scenes scheming that you don’t see until it’s revealed – because it’s only told from the heroine’s POV so we miss out on the others to know what’s going down. I really would love to read Tristan’s POV at some point because at this point he’s got to be pulling his hair out…as I would be. Anyway – it’s a calmer ride than the first book – which might be what I think it’s missing. There’s only one scene in the book that could be considered intense and that’s it. Okay I’m done whining now – I am looking forward to the next installment. Hoping all the characters dreams can come true and Calla quits thinking she has to save the world all by herself. Rome wasn’t built in a day, dear. You’ll need some help. Here’s hoping she’s smart enough to accept it once her friends catch up to her!

I was born in San Francisco, raised in Maui, Hawaii, and now reside with my husband in Las Vegas.

I am a dreamer and caffeine addict who loves to laugh and loves to read to escape reality.

One of my greatest satisfactions is creating fantasy worlds filled with adventure and romance.

It is the love and incredible support of my family and fans that keeps me going.

One day I hope to uncover my magic wardrobe and ride away on a unicorn. Until then . . . I’ll keep writing!
