A new book by Vanessa Vale? Yes please!!! And to think that it’s a series…double that yes!!!!
I really liked this one. Why? Because I fell in love with the fact that although Jed knew what he wanted years ago, he was man enough to realize that the timing was WAAAAAY off. Not to mention the circumstances weren’t ideal either. But here we are, years later and everyone older…and actually acting like adults.
North comes from a very wealth family. Her dad is the owner of a billion dollar company. Well…he WAS the owner. Now that he’s dead, she’s the new and improved one, and now it’s time to run the business the way her mother would have. Except there seems to be a little hiccup. There’s a deal that wasn’t finalized prior to her dad’s death and she’s being asked to sign off on it. Is the deal what it appears to be, or something completely out of left field?
Jed has returned to his hometown, but not the same man that left. After leaving town and becoming an FBI agent, he’s returned under the cover as a “disgraced” agent returning home. But he’s actually on an assignment. One the involves a young lady he once had his eyes on. A young lady that never belonged to him.
