“Oh, shit,” Teague hisses, as he runs into the back of me, seeing as how I’ve stopped dead in my tracks just before turning the corner to the front foyer. “What in the—”
“Teague!” Fiona yells, cutting him off. “Some twat named Finley who claims to be your girlfriend is here, and she doesn’t look anything like my bloody auntie!”
He grabs my arms and spins me around, panic painting his expression as he stares deeply into my eyes. “This isn’t what it looks like. I swear to you. I’ll tell you everything. Just let me get rid of her. Stay right here.”

Ok- the book. Erin definitely has a winner with Megaballs!!
Megaballs is soooooo much fun!!! I absolutely adore everything about it!! Erin has written a story that is so amazing, unique, creative and so damn funny!! Do you want to laugh and smile? Then you must read Megaballs! I knew from the synopsis that this would be a story unlike any I’ve read before- I was laughing just reading it. And the book, itself, didn’t disappoint. It’s hilarious.
Finley and Teague are both down on their luck. They meet when Teague goes into the restaurant Finley works in. I don’t want to give anything away, but I will say them meeting sets off a chain of events that are so funny and will have you laughing hysterically. Megaballs is definitely more comedy than romance and that was totally fine with me. I love a book that makes you laugh. A book that makes you smile. A book that makes you feel good. That said, there is romance too and let me just tell you- the scenes are steamy.
While Megaballs is the story of Teague and Finley, Finley’s sister (Farrah) and 6 year old niece (Fiona) are just as much as part of the story. I swear Fiona steals the show. Between her sense of humor, her fake British accent and her lucky umbrella, you will fall in love with that kid.
I must also mention the writing. Erin is an awesome writer. Her sentences are so well written. They aren’t short. They aren’t choppy. They are fluid and well developed. And the fact that this book is so unlike any of her others shows the talent she has as a writer.
