What a start to a promising new series!!! After being obsessed with this author’s other series (Gangsters of New York), I knew I had to read this one. Holy Moly!!! I think I’ve found a new favorite author!!!!
Although this may have started off a little slow, it picks up to the point that putting it down became an issue. The character building, descriptive scenes and overall love that these two characters have for each other lends to an epic romance that we clearly get to experience more of (since this is a 7 book saga).
And can I just mention how I love the dichotomy of Brando and Scarlett’s characters? You have the alpha mafia male versus the young beautiful dancing flower. I LOVE IT!!!!!
Bring on the next one…I can’t wait!!!!
