Lethal Temptations is the fifth book in Janine Infante Bosco’s Tempted Series. It’s Blackie and Lacey’s story. It can be read as a standalone.

Blackie is the Vice President of the Satan’s Knights MC. Blackie is an addict and doesn’t really hide it from anyone. He’s unapologetic for who he is and what he’s addicted to. For the first time in a very long time though Blackie has a reason to be a better man. She’s his angel. His salvation. He’s her leather and she’s his lace. Together they are a lethal temptation.

Lacey Parrish is the daughter of the president of Satan’s Knights MC. She’s got a huge secret she’s hiding. She’s fought so hard and hidden it for so long that no one seems to know she’s manic-depressive just like her father Jack. She’s also been in love with Blackie for as long as she can remember. He’s her salvation. The only one who can silence her maker. He’s the leather to her lace and her knight in shining armor. Their two people who can save each other if only life was that simple.

Oh my goodness, Lethal Temptation is one wild ride. Blackie and Lacey’s story is not a pretty one. Their two damaged souls looking for the light and find it in each other. Lacey should be off limits to Blackie since she is the daughter of his President, best friend and brother. Blackie is a mess. I don’t even see how this poor guy functioned between his grief and the drugs he used to help him numb the pain. Lacey appears like your average nineteen year old to all the people she knows but she battles her maker. Her mind is in a constant battle with her but she fights it and fights it hard while hiding it well. It’s the story of Leather and Lace. It is not a pretty one and broke my heart at times for both of them. It’s full of very emotional and dark moments. Had me on the edge of my seat. Broke my heart and put it back together all while rooting my little heart out for Blackie and Lacey.

Lethal Temptations is absolutely amazing. Janine Infante Boco has written a story that is equal parts dark and light. A book that I absolutely loved. I can not wait for the next book and adventure win all these characters I’m invested in. If your a fan of MC books, Lethal Temptations is one you don’t want to miss.

Blackie is the vice president of the Satan’s Knights MC. He has been battling addiction most of his life. After losing his wife, Christine, to an overdose, his life is never the same. Upon her death, he made Christine a promise to kick his drug habit once and for all. So far, he has managed to stay off the drugs, but now his problem is with the bottle. He thinks that if he just gets drunk enough, his pain will go away. Of course, it doesn’t. The pain is always waiting for him when he sobers up. For a long time, he didn’t have a reason to stay sober. Until Lacey. Lacey is the light in his darkness, but she is fighting her own demons. Can these two overcome their demons together, or will it all be just too much for them?

I really enjoyed this book! It is gritty and raw. It is two broken souls searching for love and peace. I thought that Blackie and Lacey for perfect for one another, and I really wanted them to find their happily ever after. Great book, Janine Infante Bosco!

Blackie and Lacey’s love is not an easy story. It’s not about fluff and if you’re looking to escape the reality of the world, this book is not for you. Lethal Temptations is true to its title and while there is a love story between the hero and heroine there is an individual story being told about each character.

Blackie is a drug addict.

Lacey is mentally ill.

They each suffer with the demons that haunt them.

Both issues are very much alive in our world and most of us will experience the torment of addiction and, or, mental illness. If not in ourselves than possibly through the people we love.

The smiling person beside you who appears perfect may be suffering in silence, afraid of what society will say or more than that, afraid of admitting their truth.

If you or someone you love suffers from addiction or mental illness, it’s never too late to find your voice and seek help.

My wish for those in need is that they find hope within the pages of Lethal Temptations because, you’re temptations are only lethal if you allow them to be.

Be heard.

Your voice is your weapon against the things that drag you down.

May is mental health awareness month, let’s turn society around and make it our bitch and save the fractured souls that struggle on a daily basis.
