SYNOPSIS
The beginning of my sophomore year in college was off to a rough start.

TToo bad he was headed back to England soon, so nothing could happen between us—for so many reasons.
I definitely couldn’t fall in love with him, especially since all we had was just one year.

It’s no secret that I adore Penelope and her books. I’ve said it before and I will continue to say it- I would read anything she writes. Her books have their own unique style and touch to them and I can’t get enough of them. Penelope always knows how to hook you in with her stories and writing. Her characters are always quirky and special and I fall in love with them. And she brings an emotional aspect to what the characters go through, making her books more than just fluff. I just finished Just One Year and I have a huge smile on my face. I absolutely loved Teagan and Caleb and their story. First of all, I’m a huge sucker for a British man. When I heard Caleb was from England, I may have squealed a little. And he did not disappoint. He’s witty, sweet, and sincere and my heart hurt for him at times. Teagan was adorable. She’s quirky and smart and has her own issues to deal with as well. Together they are fantastic. They have a lot of ups and downs in their relationship and I was rooting for them all the way. I enjoyed every single minute of their story. I smiled, I laughed, and my heart hurt at times. As with all Penelope’s books, Just One Year is well written, addictive, and touching.
