In the Shadows by J.A. Owenby is now live!

One, two, I’m coming for you.
She’s my obsession.

Three, four, kneel on the floor.
I want to possess her in every way.

Five, six, I’m up to my old tricks.
She knows me as The Portland Serial Killer.

Seven, eight, lay in wait.
Little does she know I’m watching her.

Nine, ten, never to be seen again.
Welcome to your worst nightmare, little lamb.

Who am I? Let me introduce myself.
I’m Death. And I have found my Queen.

Ella McCloud you’re the flicker of light in my dark, dark world.
The color in my grayscale existence.
I yearn for you like the night yearns for the stars.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is a dark stalker romance. I was so excited to get my hands on this book. I love a good stalker story and this one is so good. You won’t be able to lay it down once you pick it up, you won’t be able to lay it down. This book also keeps you on your toes. So much so that I don’t think I can tell you a thing about this story and not be giving something away. I would never want to give out a spoiler for anyone who hasn’t picked it up already. This book has you paying attention to every little detail. Just when you think you have it figured out….BAM…right in your face and you figure out that what you thought you knew, you don’t know that at all. I devoured this book and loved every single second of it. It is a dark book and you will want to heed the trigger warnings, then dive on in and have the time of your life trying to figure this story out.
