Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: February 19, 2020

This is a love story.
It’s brutal.
Heartwrenching.
Terrifying, honest, and raw.
But a love story nonetheless…because it is so beautiful.
Ensley:
Noah Carter was the type of guy that every girl wanted.
Gorgeous. Talented. Smart and kind.
He was the world that revolved around me even though I didn’t deserve him.
But then something went wrong.
He snapped maybe, just lost his mind.
I found him the night my family died, their blood staining his hands.
I put him in prison. I got my revenge.
But then years later he broke free and stole me away from my life.
Noah:
You couldn’t know Ensley without wanting to strangle her.
She was beautiful. She was wild. She was the girl next door.
I grew up with her by my side.
I watched her destroy herself while I held on.
I protected her when she had been blind to the danger that surrounded her.
I let her go once, only to find her again.
She would see me this time no matter what.
CHRISTINA’S FOUR STAR REVIEW:
DISCLAIMER!!!
This book has A LOT of triggers. I repeat, if you have abuse issues, Daddy issues, Mommy issues, needing to be loved issues and any other issue that you think you might have, you might not make it through this book. Why? Because LILY’S BAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!
REVIEW
Good LORD!!!!!! She’s back y’all. Lily has reached in to that beautifully dark and scary as hell mind of hers and has produced yet another mind bending masterpiece. This is NOT a garden full of roses and the typical beauty you find within it. This is a garden full of secrets, lies and the kind of beauty you can only find within the dysfunction of it all.
Ensley is living a special kind of hell. Even though she counts down each and every minute of the day, she just can’t seem to escape what life has dealt her. Between a father rarely there, a mother spawn from the devil himself and boy who’s had her heart since she was too young to now any different, her reality isn’t….real. It’s a segment of moments put together in increments of hours, just to get to the next day. Until her past catches up with her and literally throws her for a loop.
Noah could possibly be the best thing since sliced bread. Well, except for the fact that he’s an escaped prisoner, serving life for murdering an entire family. After spending years pining over his next door neighbor, Ensley, while both in and out of jail, he’s determined to “fix” her. Why? Because he’s stupid. But then again, loving someone can make you do some really stupid things, can’t it?
Words can’t express how overwhelmed I am with this book. Not in a bad way, nope, I can’t stop thinking about everything that happens. The absolute hell that Ensley lives through day in and day out is enough to make me (someone not even living it) slice my wrists. This book is dark y’all. But oh so beautiful!!!!!
Renee’s Five Star Review:
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Wow!!! Talk about a mind blowing read. You need to take the warning seriously. This book deals with some subject matter that may be difficult for some readers. I so am not going to tell you a thing about the story. I went in not knowing anything and that is how you should do it too. This book is an emotional roller coaster that will also have you one the edge of your seat and holding your breath at times. I will tell you that you are going to want to punch a character in this book so bad you can’t even stand it. I swear Lily White should make dolls of this character to go along with the book so you can take your aggression out on it. I loved Ensley and Noah and just know that these two were meant to be since the beginning of time. This is a must read if you love psychological romances. Go get it now and have fun!!!!

“I hate you,” she hissed, hair wild around her face like it always had been.
“I know.”
Her body shook, and her shoulders wilted, arms curled around her body, fingernails digging into her skin. “I need-“
“I know,” I said, stepping forward to grab onto her so she wouldn’t have to say it.
Our eyes met in the shadow of that room. “You don’t need to say it. I know.”
I’ve always known…but I couldn’t do anything about it.
Ens melted in my grasp, like water through my hands, trying to slip away and escape so she could damage herself in some way I couldn’t stop, but I wouldn’t let her.
Not this time.
Not again.
Gripping my hand over the back of her head, I pulled her to me, my mouth locking over hers, tongue risking the clench of her teeth because she would fight me tooth and nail while this happened, but that’s what she needed.
To fight me.
To injure me.
Because she had never been able to fight them.
Fingernails cut into my biceps, her body thrashing to break free, but I held on and kissed her like I was giving her the air she needed to breathe.
Shoving Ensley down on the bed, I grabbed the back of my shirt to strip it off, every muscle in my body tense because I knew I was a bastard for wanting this.
For wanting her.

For taking advantage, even though it had never been my intent.
