Every rock star book I read always sheds a different light on the career of musicians I feel like. This one is no different. The band Kill John are at the top of their game…until one of their members bottoms out. It’s devastating to the band.
One night of making a bad choice Killian finds himself at the mercy of Liberty – wrong place but could be the absolute right time. Both wanting to be alone. Both swearing they don’t need another person. But they do. They click. They’re each others yin and yang.
I thought the author did a good job with this story. It flows well. The characters are fantastic. I laughed quite a bit. The book didn’t have a lot of drama nor angst. Just a few bumps in the road.
If you love rock star stories. You’re bound to love this one as well.
