I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

Mixing work and pleasure can end in complete disaster.  Neither party can stand one another…much less work together.  I can just picture this happening in this particular story.  There’s a very high probability of that actually happening.  Especially with the way Sam Stanton acts.  He’s jaded and jilted.  The one person he thought was his for life – well she crushed his heart into bit.  Chewed it up and spit it out.  Then disappeared.

If I were to give you many details about this book I would giveaway the entire storyline.  So basically – I just have to give you the bare minimum – I hope without spoiling.  Sam is an honest guy.  He’s trying his best to figure out what will make him happy…because he’s not.  Hasn’t been for a long time and is just going through the motions.

He gets a chance to change all that and the puzzle of his life seems to be coming together – piece by piece.  Seriously there’s quite a few pieces to put together here.  I wanted to reach out and hug him.  The hand he was dealt in this story wasn’t the best.  You know what they say there’s always three truths to every story and this one has quite a few to find.

I hope you enjoy this book as you decide to pick it up.  You will find yourself rooting for the underdog, I’m pretty sure!
