If you read Mercy then you met Animal there. If you have not read Mercy then you need to but it will not affect your reading of Havoc. But it is the story of Nix and one that is so amazing you really do need to read it. I love Havoc. I love Animal. His heart, his soul, and the way he protected those that he loved and had chosen as family. This book starts in the present but then flashes back to the past of Animal and T. Even before there was a Nix in Animal’s life. This is him growing up and alternates between his and T’s point of view. These two did not have easy childhoods but T had it rougher than Animal for sure. However they were there for each other no matter what or the cost. Then you go back to the present and the danger that will have you one the edge of your seat and tears in your eyes at times. You just don’t think about these big bad characters having hearts of gold but Animal is the exception. He always will be. You also get to see Nix sister Ember in this book and I was so happy to find out that the next book is about Ember and it is coming soon. I am loving these characters so much. You do not want to miss this book. Period. End of story. Go grab it now and enjoy the ride.
