“Do you love her?”
Harley’s temper flares as he meets my gaze. “Rose—”
“Do you?”
“I don’t know.” He rakes a hand through his hair. A beat later it falls right back in his face. I long to reach out and touch it, but that isn’t my place anymore. “Yeah. I think so. When I’m with her I’m a different man, but when I’m here with you, I’m … I’m me.”
“God,” I breathe. “That’s so much worse.” Fresh tears prick my eyes. I cover my face, as if I could hide my torment or the despair that I feel in this moment.
As if I could hide anything from this man.
“I know.” Sadness chokes his voice, making the words almost impossible to hear. Harley pulls me close, folding me in his arms, holding me the way he has a thousand times before, but this time it’s infinitely different.
This time, it’s the end of us.

Carmen has written an epically amazing book with Harley & Rose. It is beyond good. It’s unbelievably good.
Oh my god, this book. I don’t even know where to start.
Harley and Rose have been best friends since childhood. But they have always been more. Their relationship is so full of ups and downs. They love each other. They hurt each other. They go back and forth. And they do it over and over again. They just can’t get it right a lot of the time. To be honest, sometimes I wanted to slap them both. Harley for the way he treated Rose and Rose for the way she couldn’t let go. But I say sometimes because there were so many times in their lives when they were good to each other and so great together.
I won’t give anything away but by the end of the book you will be a crying, blubbering mess. I actually had an idea of what was going to happen and I was right. But it didn’t matter. It still gutted and shattered me. My heart was broken. You will have tears running down your face. But it’s worth it. This beautiful story is worth it.
Carmen’s writing is absolutely flawless, perfectly paced and brings out so many emotions. And while it is emotional, it’s also witty and will have you smiling.
Harley & Rose is so much. So much of everything. It’s all the feels. It’s a beautiful, emotional, heart wrenching and tragic story of love, loss, heartbreak and pain. I loved this book. Every single word, every single chapter. It is now one of my top favs of all time. Go one click now!!!

Okay, I need a tub of Ben n Jerry’s or a shot, hell probably both! My heart is shattered, and I don’t think I will ever find all of the pieces to put it back together again!
While I fell in with Harley and Rose from the very beginning, there were times I didn’t get why Harley was making the decisions he was, but when his reasons were finally exposed, my heart just couldn’t take it! The love between these two was that once in a lifetime love. They were best friends, lovers, and soulmates.
I have to admit that I didn’t read the synopsis for this book and went in blind, and boy was I ever blown away! I swear I could feel the tension growing as the story line progressed, and I never ever expected what was coming!
It is no surprise that this book is beautifully written, I mean this is the one and only Carmen Jenner we are talking about! And the characters? You won’t be able to stop yourself from falling in love with Harley and Rose. You will feel their joy along with their heartache. I will also give you a warning-have a Kleenex box (or two) at the ready while reading this book! If this is your first time reading anything by this author, there are many other books by her out there for you to enjoy! Kudos to Carmen for creating another epic read!
