Forgive Me For My Sins by Angel Anders is now live!

A married socialite escaping her husband.
A tormented priest running from his past.
A forbidden love that will consume them both.

Avery’s husband has been unfaithful. While trying to come to terms with her new reality, a man hidden in the shadows of her church catches her attention.

It turns out the man is the new priest everyone’s been expecting, Father Lachlan O’Connell. Only he’s nothing like what she thought he’d be. He is sin personified, and her every fantasy come to life.

They both know there’s a palpable attraction between them that they can’t act on. He’s off-limits, and she’s trying to divorce her husband. Working on the upcoming church gala together is going to be the ultimate test.

What happens when they give into temptation?

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the story of Lachlan and Avery. This is a romance story about a woman trying to get a divorce and the new Priest. This is also the authors debut novel. I would not by any means call this a dark romance. It very much has a contemporary romance feel to it. It is however a very taboo romance and at times I really was worried for myself reading this book. Lachlan has moved from Boston to be the newest priest in Charleston, S.C. I am sure this had to be culture shock for him, but he is trying to outrun his past. Avery is a woman who is married but she has caught her scumbag husband checking with his assistant. To make matter worse it was on her brand new rug. Now I say this because it stood out so much that it really cracked me up. I can see myself being so shocked I would be focused on the rug too. Desperate to figure out what to do she goes to church to try to get it together and play her part as the wife she has always been. The trophy wife really if we are cutting to the chase. When she meet Lachlan the thoughts running though her head made me a little uncomfortable. Now this is a me and I don’t even want to call it a problem. I just kept thinking about going to church all the time and having a thing for the preacher and I was super uncomfortable. Taboo for sure. But I got over that quickly and on I went. When Lachlan suggest that they work on a upcoming church function the sparks are flying all over the place and Lachlan really does “shed his robe” so to speak. One is looking to divorce and figure out all the shady stuff that has been going on. The other is there for redemption from their past. Together this makes for a very good story and different from any other book you have read that involves a Priest. To be a debut novel it was really really good. I was impressed and will be reading this author again. You wouldn’t know it was her debut novel if you didn’t know because I told you.
