This is the second book in the Web of Desire Series. You have to have read Flame before starting Flame or you are going to be so lost. This book picks right up where Flame left off and I was so excited to dive back into the world of Sparrow Webs. There are so many twists and turns in this book that you will not see coming and once again I was left shocked at the ending. Just when you think you have everything somewhat figured out you don’t. I swear Aleatha Romig is the queen of cliffhanger endings and thank goodness we do not have to wait to long to have Ashes in our hands. I loved this book so much and I loved that we got the past story of Madeline’s life from the day that everything in the world went wrong for her and Patrick. And can I just say that Patrick is so swoon worthy and I love how how loves Maddie and she him. This book is absolutely everything you look for in a dark romance. You do not want to miss this series. There is no way you won’t fall in love with it as much as I have.
