Ryan Shea has sworn off men.

After her last relationship imploded in front of her eyes, she decides to take a break from swimming in the dating pool โ€ฆ possibly forever. The brilliant computer whiz loses her brain when it comes to love, and jumping feet first burns her every time.

Without a home, or much of a clue where life is headed, taking a trip back to the small town of Fawn Hill to stay with her best friend seems like the only option.

Except it puts Ryan directly in the path of the one man she canโ€™t fall for. Fletcher Nash reminds her too much of the dark past sheโ€™s always run from; his demons are the things of her nightmares. And itโ€™s no help that, when he looks at her, she feels as if Fletcher is the one person who truly understands.

Fletcher Nash vowed not to fall in lust.

Five years of sobriety, and he hasnโ€™t broken the chastity promise yet. Not that it had to keep for this long โ€ฆ heโ€™s well over the normal year addicts are told not to get involved.

But, aside from a busy schedule and trying to chase his dream of becoming a full-time artist, he has no intentions of committing to a woman until she is the one.

Why is it, then, that sassy, city girl Ryan Shea comes dangerously close to resembling the exact woman he could break that promise for? Like sand through his fingers, there is no way sheโ€™ll stay put โ€ฆ but his heart just wonโ€™t listen.

They pledged not to love anyone until it was the real thing.
So what happens when two people terrified of falling head-over-heels, actually do?

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This series is so good. if you have not started it then your really missing out on these amazing Nash Brothers. This is Fletcher and Ryan’s story. Ryan is going to the town of Fawn Hill to spend some much needed time with her best friend. Ryan is a girl that falls hard and fast and this always, always ends up in a broken heart. So, she has sworn off men. Fletcher if the youngest Nash brother and a recovering addict. He has been sober for five years no and he puts all his effort and energy into staying sober. It is the most important thing in his life, even if it means that he is staying single. He can not afford the emotions that come with a relationship and the possibility of getting hurt. This book is super emotional and I felt like I was right on the journey with him to maintain his sobriety and how hard it was for him at times. He and Ryan have some major issues and this huge attraction to each other. This is the story of them both facing their biggest fears head on. I devoured this book and it was absolutley amazing. Fletcher is my favorite of the Nash Brothers and he was so worth this wait. This book will blow you away for sure.

Falter is available for a special release day price of $2.99! The book will increase to $3.99 the day after release.

  • Author Bio

Author of romance novels such as The Tenth Girl and Privileged, Carrie Aarons writes books that are just as swoon-worthy as they are sarcastic. A former journalist, she prefers the love stories of her imagination, and the athleisure dress code, much better.

When she isn’t writing, Carrie is busy binging reality TV, having a love/hate relationship with cardio, and trying not to burn dinner. She lives in the suburbs of New Jersey with her husband, daughter and Lab/Great Dane rescue.
