Cruel Saint is the first book in The Saint Trilogy. It is the story of Gideon and Imogene. Imogene has lived through some horrible things. The loss of her fiance has really affected her and it has been five years. The time has family come for her to stop mourning and get on with her life and move away and start over. When she meets Gideon he is a man out for revenge since he had been left for dead. Not only was he betrayed but betrayed by those he trusted the most in the entire world. His plan is to get close to Imogene but sometimes fate has other plans for all of us. These two have some amazing chemistry. You can feel it bleeding off the pages of this book. There are twists and turns and moments that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved that both of these characters are feeling things that neither of them have felt for a very long time. In a sense it is both of them starting over when it comes to love. I loved reading this book. It is amazing. One that you certainly do not want to miss.
