BLURB:

To survive where I live, you have two options.

You can be a Normal–a cheerleader, jock, member of the debate team, or on the yearbook committee. You pretend everything is normal.

Or you can be crew.
You insult us? We hurt you.
You hurt us? We really hurt you.
And if you screw with us, we will end you.

My name is Bren.
I’m the only female in the Wolf Crew–the best, fiercest, and most dangerous crew there is–and we have a rule: There’s no falling in love.

Well… too late.

CHRISTINA’S FIVE STAR REVIEW:

How in the world does this author keep producing books that I can’t stop obsessing about? I just don’t get it. The only explanation I have is that she’s some sort of mythical creature, because she has me completely captivated!!!!

Bren is the only female in her Crew of four. In fact, she’s only one of two females in ALL of the Crews. Trust me, there’s a reason too. She’s total badass chick with some serious unresolved childhood issues which only add to…HER. Without parents and a brother who is hardly around (a surprise character from the Fallen Crest series), her Crew has become her family. Some would even consider them more than family. And if one is messed with, all hell will break loose.

The other members of the Wolf Crew are Cross, Jordan and Z. Each member have their own distinct roles, or at least rolls that they’ve fallen in to. But things are changing their senior year. With the other Crews and “Normals” finding their places in the hierarchy, it seems like it’s shaping up to be an amazing school year. And it’s only the first day.  Add in the fact that one of the Crew rules is about to be broken and the phrase, proceed with caution, is an understatement…but oh so worth it.

If you’re a fan of the Fallen Crest series, then buckle up because I have a feeling that this is the beginning of yet another round that we won’t be able to resist.

I honestly didn’t even like reading Young Adult books until this author. As an adult, reliving my high school and early college years through the eyes of a new generation wasn’t exactly, appealing. But boy oh boy have my opinions changed on the matter. This author has actually made me feel young and, dare I say “hip” again. Just don’t tell my daughter…LOL
