Jewel
His hands and his commanding nature are all I want in this life I’ve chosen for myself. Everyone thinks they know what’s best for me. I’m a preacher’s daughter, but it doesn’t mean I’m innocent. But, there’s only one man I want, and he doesn’t do long term relationships. When another shows interest in me, he fights for me. I want nothing more than to be his submissive. I will always submit to him because it’s Maddox—the only man I’ve ever wanted.
Maddox
She’s a preacher’s daughter and innocent in every way that matters. When I take the very last of her innocence, I let her go because I don’t commit. But, she’s embedded herself into my heart, and I can’t let her go. When another threatens to take her from me, I do anything and everything in my power to make her mine. My heart was frozen solid until I met her—loving her has changed me because she’ll always be the exception to all my rules.

CHRISTINA’S FOUR STAR REVIEW

Well…I didn’t think that I’d enjoy this second installment as much as the first, but dang it, this author totally made me do it. Although the overall BDSM theme, club scenes and friendships are there, this one almost felt raw. Like the title should have been vulnerable instead of corruption. Why? Because both of these characters are cut deep with their personal issues and yet find each other when they both need each other the most.

Jewel is the preachers daughter. Yep, you can start your imagination running now, lol. But seriously, ever since she ran across the picture of a certain man at the age of 16, she knew EXACTLY what she wanted. In fact, she not only went against her father’s beliefs, but studied and amerced herself in this man’s lifestyle JUST to have a chance to meet him. And boy oh boy, she’s not disappointed.

Maddox, one of Chadwick’s “boys”, runs the Seattle dungeon. Ever since his heart was ripped out over 8 years ago, he’s lived by one motto, sex and that’s it. That is until one day when he decides to play with one of the new subs. Unfortunately, she became an itch. One that he avoided, yet obsessed over. That is until another Dom makes a play for her. Is he willing to let her go, or is he going to fight for his HEA?

I have to admit that usually when I read stories like this, it’s the girl that has most of the “drama” and things that need to be “handled”. I didn’t think that was the case with this one. In fact, it was REALLY nice to watch Maddox man up to not only his mistakes, but doing everything in his power to protect what he knew was his.

Not only will Maddox and Jewel’s relationship pull you in, you’ll be reconnected with all of the men and women of this series. The things this group does for each other goes beyond friendship, it’s family.
