Campfire Chaos

Hood River Hoodlums, Book 3 by K Webster Publication Date: June 25, 2020 Genres: Forbidden Enemies to Lovers Romance

Purchase: Amazon | Barnes & Noble | Kobo | Apple Books | Eden Books

From USA Today bestselling author K Webster comes a forbidden, enemies to lovers romance called Campfire Chaos! I had it all. Popularity. Good grades. Cheerleading. Doting family and great friends. Until the wrong boy swept into my perfect world and destroyed every part of it. Abuse. Drugs. Humiliation. He trampled all over my reputation and I was powerless to do anything about it. I couldn’t break free from his controlling hold. But the night of the accident changed everything. Now I’m freed at last. It comes at a cost, though. I hurt a Hoodlum. I can’t fix him, but I can fix me. Without the monster in my life, I grow stronger, fiercer, braver. I’m on the right track to cleaning up the mess that is my life. Repairing friendships. Restoring trust with my family. Healing from my recent, terrible past. Everything was going to be okay. Or so I thought. Because I have a new problem. Cal Hutton. Town’s lawless, gorgeous bad boy. A Hood River Hoodlum. My new nemesis. He wants me to pay for what I did to his best friend. Cal thinks I’m weak and an unworthy adversary, someone he can toy with. But I’ll never allow another man to have that power over me. I have claws now. I fight back. This is a full-length high school enemies-to-lovers, forbidden, and new adult romance with high angst, suspense, and gutting emotion. It’s book three in the Hood River Hoodlum series that will have interlinking storylines. Campfire Chaos shouldn’t be read as a standalone and is the continuation of a four-book planned series that gives each Hoodlum a book. The first book in the series is the only MM story. The others, including this one, are MF.

Renee’s Five Star Review:

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

This is the third book in the Hood River Hoodlums from K. Webster. Each of these books focus on a different couple but they need to be read in order for the story of it all carries from one book to the next. Plus you don’t want to miss Hood River Rat and Little Hoodlum. They are such great reads. If you read Little Hoodlum then I am sure you remember how that book gave this sneak peak into Campfire Chaos. Sine that moment I so couldn’t wait to get this book in my hands. This book is about Charlotte and Cal. Charlotte as you know is Hollis’s younger sister. One night and a tragic accident that destroys so many thing and people, Charlotte ends up on Cal’s radar and not in the kind of way a girl wants to be on a guys radar. Cal is on of the Original Hood River Hoodlums and he is a man on a revenge mission. I wouldn’t even know how to act if I was the one on Cal’s radar. I think I would be terrified. But in Little Hoodlum Charlotte sure wasn’t even acing like herself from the girl we first met in Hood River Rats. I don’t want to give away this story. I feel like if I say to much about it I will give something saw. I really liked Charlotte in the first book, in the second I wanted to kick her butt for being the way she was and that is the girl I think Cal thinks he is going after. Boy oh boy are they both in for a surprise. Don’t miss this. It is twisty and keeps you on your toes. I really loved it. Heck I am loving this entire series and can’t wait to get the next book in my hands.
