This is the story of Maisy and Luca. If you have read the other series then you know that Maisy is Rose’s best friend and Luca is the half brother of Dante. Miasy has family been able to get out of a horribly abusive marriage and she might have been kidnapped, but I will let you discover that yourself if you haven’t read the previous books in this series. Luca is a man obsessed and determined to make her his. If he has to stalk her then so be it. He is also a mafia boss that loves to paint. He is ruthless but also has this side to him that any woman would love to see. He is a man on a mission and Maisy can feel his presence no matter where she is and she is beginning to be unable to resist the pull that she feels for him. I loved Luca I think I fell for him with Maisly. I love a dirty talking take no prisoner’s kind of man and Luca is dark, dangerous and really has a filthy mouth. Maisy has been through so much in her life and you really want her to find her happily ever after. She is a girl that doesn’t say curse words and some of the words she uses in their place really will have you cracking up. All she really needs in life is to feel safe and protected and their is no doubt that Luca is able to deliver on all of those fronts. I loved reading these books. I have loved all the books in this series. If you haven’t started it yet then you need to.
