Breathing You In by Christina Maria is now live!

Winter
Imagine going through a traumatic experience that almost changes your whole life. That’s exactly why I try to live every day tucking my secret away. However, my abusive, alcoholic father likes to remind me daily how much of a screw up I am when all I want to do is forget about my past and live my life like a normal twenty-one-year-old. Then one day I walk into a bar, and everything changes. I lock eyes with Carsten Hatcher, and I forget how to breathe. Everyone seems to have their opinions of him; he’s different around me, he shows me what it’s like to feel loved for who I am, saving me from my life and from myself.

Carsten
Some might call me a man whore and see me as someone who goes through girls like crazy, I just see myself as someone who doesn’t do relationships. That is until I meet Winter, she catches my attention right away and I instantly become protective of her. She makes me want to change my old ways and things I never imagined wanting before. I will do anything I can to keep her in my life and make her mine, because now that I’ve had her, I’m too obsessed to lose her.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is a dark romance. You will need to heed the warning that are attached to this book before diving it. It will contain triggers for some readers.
This is the story of Winter and Carsten. Winter is a twenty one year old who is a survivor. But with a father like hers she is never able to forget anything and take what he dishes out daily. Oh how I hated that man!! However one trip to a bar and everything changes for her. From the moment she laid eyes on Carsten, she loses her breath the attraction to him is so strong. He is changing her life by showing her for the first time ever what is like to be loved by someone. However, everyone says he is a player. Goes though women like they are drops in the buckets. But that is not the man he is around her at all. She is changing him. He wants to be her protector and is slightly obsessed with her and wants to keep her forever. This is a fast paced story that will have you fanning yourself on many occasions. I really loved these characters. One super damaged and the other with a reputation he can’t outrun. They are so perfect for each other. I really loved this book. This was my first time reading a book by this author. But, it will not be my last. I just loved it that much.

Meet Christina Maria

Christina Maria lives in Cleveland, Ohio with her husband Michael, their four kids and two black cats, Bear and Pixie. Before becoming a stay at home mom, she worked at a salon as a licensed hair stylist for almost eleven years. Christina has always loved reading and getting lost in a good book. Along with writing, for as long as she can remember she has always loved anything that told a story or using her imagination to write her own story. She remembers writing stories on her computer or in notebooks as a little girl. It has always been a dream of hers to write a book of her own one day. After taking a four year break on a book she started writing, she finally picked it back up and decided to turn it into her dream of being a first time Indie Author on her very first Dark Romance book, Breathing You In.
