I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the first book in the Heroes and Villains Duet. I will go ahead and say that you are going to love this book. There is a lot to go on and things that will keep you guessing. I also was all over the place. I wanted to swoon and then I’d be so mad I wanted to slap someone. If I could crawl into a book and meet these characters I know exactly who I would slap first. We will call this the story of Ophelia and Silas but there is also Ethan and the fox family. So there are a lot of characters to either love or hate. Ophelia’s life has basically turned upside down. He dad has gone away and basically cut off all contact with her. But the Fox family has been there for her and she is even engaged to be married to Ethan. Silas is Mr. Fox son too but he was born from an affair but raised in the guest house with his mother working for the family. He left and disappeared and now he is back and I don’t think that Ophelia was to happy to see him and I know that Ethan wasn’t’ thrilled either. But Silas has always been the one to rescue her. He is not about to stop now. I think that is about all I can tell you about the story or I am going to give something away. There is a lot of stuff going on in this book. I loved Ophelia. She is a really good girl stuck in a bad position and like me not really sure what is going on. Silas is a alpha male who came from nothing and has made a life for himself. But revenge on his father is the name of the game. But now that Ophelia is stuck in the middle he is going to make sure she is always o.k. Ethan, oh my goodness he and his father are just the worst. Well, I should say his father is the worst because I’m not a thousand present sure that Ethan is all the way fully aware of everything that is going on or if he is a really good actor. He probably knows because I am the worst at guessing about things in a book. told from Ophelia and Silas point of view we also get a peep into their past by past events being chapters too. I really loved this book and closed it absolutely shocked.
