Remington Badd…he’s just as big, just as BADD, just as foul-mouthed and filthy-minded as his brother Roman. But under that rough and wild exterior lies a secret.

Juneau Isaac, a Yup’ik Inuit, is the daughter of a hiking guide father and a mother who creates works of art and sells it to the tourists. The first to go to college—the first to leave her family’s ancestral home near Ketchikan—Juneau feels a deep sense of obligation to her family, to ignore the real passion that beats inside her.

A roughneck smokejumper with an artist’s soul hidden deep inside. An artist living a false life, harboring secrets and fostering forbidden passions.

Can these two find their way to living their truths while navigating the tumultuous waters of a whirlwind romance? In a battle between familial obligation and secret dreams, will there be room for love—not to mention the wild intensity of uncontrollable lust—in these closed-off hearts?

Stephanie’s 3 Star Review:

I received a free copy of this book from the author.

Badd Business is the tenth book in this series of interconnected standalone novels.  This one focuses on triplet, Remington Badd and Juneau Isaac.  He’s one of three identical brothers and she’s the youngest in her family. That’s not where their differences end but their similarities are what will bring them together.

This particular Badd book I had a little trouble with getting past Juneau’s hang ups. They just seemed to be excuses for her not following her calling.  They probably were. It just seemed to me if she would quit judging others as harshly as she does she’d see they really loved her for her and wanted nothing but her happiness a lot sooner than she does.

I love the relationship between Remington and Juneau though. Once she got past her assumptions with him they had a beautiful connection that helped boost Juneau’s confidence in herself. Maybe this is what she needed all along.

If you haven’t started the Badd Brothers series I highly recommend it. The Badd’s are a whole lotta testosterone along with good looks – even quite a bit of intelligence too!  You should add them to your collection.
