This book is nothing short of amazing!!! Once you start reading you will not want to put this book down. This is the story of Breeze, Violet, Kai and Chase. Breeze and Violet are best friends and on the night of a wild and crazy party that Violet and Chase were known to throw, Violet didn’t want to be there at all. She is more a wallflower and doesn’t really enjoy the party scene. She is a quiet shy girl who Violet has always taken up for and protected the best she could. But with the help of a Diary we all get to see glimpses of the Violet that Breeze didn’t know. Your best friends ends up dead the night of a party when she sends you to go get a ride from her boyfriend Kai because her brother Chase is in a fight. What do you do? How would you deal with the death of your best friend? How would you deal with the brother that is losing it that you have had a crush on forever? How do you deal with her boyfriend when he reveals he really had a thing for you? There are a lot of things and mysteries in this book and things happening that you will not see coming. But most of all you will be trying to figure out who killed Violet right along with the police, Violet, Kai and Chase. I loved this story it was so full of emotions and angst, twist and turns. This is a book that you absolutely do not even want to miss. This will go down as one of my favorite reads of the year.

I have always loved to read. In kindergarten, I was the weird kid sitting in the reading nook by myself instead of trying to get more snacks. I’m excited to be putting my own voice on the page and watching a story I helped create come to life. I still love to read, but I also really like snacks.

I grew up in Chicago but recently moved back to the Dallas area where I live with my husband and son.

I have my Bachelor of Science in Biology. I spent a year researching chimpanzees and gorillas while I was in Chicago and then I spent another two months on a chimpanzee sanctuary trying to convince headstrong chimps to cooperate. Pro tip – grapes are a pretty hot bargaining tool. They work wonders with my toddler too.
