There are some authors that are just in a class by themselves. Their writing is above and beyond the norm. Their books touch your heart and soul. You fall in love with their writing. You add their books to your list of favorite books ever. You shout from the rooftops about them. Brittainy is one of those authors for me.
The Fire Between High and Lo is incredible. I really mean that. It’s amazing. Reading it made me gasp. It made my heart skip a beat. I fell in love- with the book, with the writing, with the words, with the characters. It’s beautiful, it’s heart wrenching, it’s perfect. Through every high in the book and every low, I was captivated. There really aren’t enough words to express my love for this book.
The Fire Between High and Lo is so beautifully written. Things like this just took my breath away. And you won’t appreciate it until you read the book. But when you do, you will understand.

And we started all over again.
Gah!! This book!! And Logan. God I love Logan. He’s now one of my favorite characters ever. Like she did with Tristian in The Air He Breathes, Brittainy has created a broken man that is so incredible we can’t help but fall in love with him. Her words weave a story that you won’t be able to put down. And I am seriously debating reading it again and I don’t reread books ever.
Do me a favor. Read The Fire Between High and Lo. I promise you will love it.
And as a note- The Fire Between High and Low is Book 2 in The Elements Series but it is a complete standalone. That said, you MUST read the first book, The Air He Breathes, if you haven’t. It is absolutely amazing.
